Koach Ha-Medameh — The Power of Imagination A themed anthology of the teachings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, of blessed memory, on the koach ha-medameh — the imaginative faculty within man. In the Breslov tradition, the medameh is the very ground on which every trial and every craving unfolds: the veil that stands between the soul and the true intellect, and, at the same time, the doorway through which a man may rise to the sechel of holiness and to complete emunah. Drawing from Likutey Moharan, Sichot HaRan, Chayey Moharan, and Rabbi Nathan of Nemirov's Likutey Halachot, the book traces the medameh across the whole of a life: how it drives desire and confusion; how it hides behind money, sleep, night, and the road; how it disguises evil as good; how it can be broken through joy, tzedakah, mitzvot performed with the hands, drawing near to the true tzaddik, and the light of Torah studied at night. The concluding section offers Prayer twenty-five from Likutey Tefillot of Rabbi Nathan — a plea that the imagination itself be lifted from the animal nature into holiness. Compiled and arranged by Rabbi Natan Shlomo Frank. Brought to press by Rabbi Yehudah Eastman. This English adaptation was prepared for audio narration. Names, terms, and citations are given in a form suited to spoken delivery; the source references (Likutey Moharan, Likutey Halachot, and others) are preserved in full within the text. #Breslov #RabbiNachman #Kabbalah #JewishAudiobook #ChassidicWisdom #KoachHaMedameh #Emunah #Tzaddik
